Linda is the star of our latest TV advert, where we see her arranging a dinner date with ‘silver fox’, Andrew.
You can watch our TV ad here.
We took the time for a quick chat to learn more about her.
I remember I was only around 5 years old and my mum and dad took me to see Alice in Wonderland in pantomime.
To this very day I feel all excited when I think about it. It was so fantastic, I watched all the characters come to life and I thought to myself ‘I want to do that – that’s for me. I love it!’.
Then I went on to train at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and took various other exams. I went on to do a lot of radio work, then the rest is history.
I absolutely love it – I go into shops and put on daft voices, I really should behave myself as I embarrass my family tremendously!
I like writing poetry, I’ve actually written a few lines about Parsley Box:
Parsley Box, Parsley Box where would I be
if I didn’t have you for my lunch or my tea?
Don’t be flustered trying to think what to make for dinner
Pick up the phone, call Parsley Box, every single meal’s a winner!
I also love watching The Chase, gardening programmes and Agatha Christie. I enjoy baking as well – I just made a nice chocolate cake today.
5 Agatha Christie novels every mystery fan should read.
Love a good whodunit?
We have put together a list of 5 must-read classics from the Queen of Crime.
We went on a cruise a few years ago and the ship stopped at a place I’d never heard of called Cozumel – just off the coast of Mexico.
I thought I had landed in paradise, the beaches were like walking into the brochure! The sparkling blue seas, white sands and palm trees were beautiful.
Skiing in Switzerland was also a favourite. I always say that I’ve never felt as well and healthy as on that holiday in Switzerland as the air was just so pure.
No question about it – Muffin the Mule with Annette Mills.
Muffin was a puppet who would dance on the top of Annette’s baby grand piano while she’d play it and sing while Muffin spoke to her. I just loved that show so much, I even have a picture of Annette here in the house.
My husband and I really do enjoy the Chicken with Lemon & Ginger Sauce. The Lasagne is also a good one – and I can’t forget the Sticky Toffee Pudding!
